Underwhelmed. Yes beating Yertle would be great , but Allison is a pretty shitty candidate. If she pulls out a win here then it will be despite of her, not becasue of her.
In fact, democrats don’t deserve to keep the Senate if they can’t run as democrats. The country hates republicans more than they hate lawyers and al queda yet some dems insist on being republican-lite. They deserve to lose.
Hate to say it, but what it probably indicates is this; some other spineless asshat failure conservative-pandering Dem has come up as blowing their run for Senate worse than she is, so she moved back into the “spend” column and they had to shift back to her.
Come on Alison! God, I hope she wins.
Even in the horrific scenario in which Democrats lose the Senate, it would sure cushion the blow for McConnell to be sent packing.
And by the way, thank you so much! We need more Democrats like you who operate in reality and understand that different states have different dynamics. It’s so easy to sit back in the comfort of a blue or purple state and whine about what Democrats should do and how they should run in states you’ve never even driven through.
Grimes is running a great race and doing the best she can with the headwinds she’s facing. She doesn’t need yet another blue state Monday morning quarterback bitching about bullshit even we KY Dems couldn’t be paid to care about. She needs your well wishes/prayers, your help, and most importantly, she needs your money.
