Yeah, not so much. The former Governor, sure, but outside of a botched rollout for the ACA - a poor IT implementation, really, that’s a year in the past - I’ve het to hear how the state is ‘mired in scandal’.
What does her sexual preference have to do with anything?

A lot, given the amount of prejudice she’s presumably been subject to. Sexual orientation aside, it sounds like Oregon has traded up. Shows the value of making an effort to win thos edownballot races. Democrats still tend to ignore SOS races, and failing to win in this case would have turned the governorship over to the Republicans, like happened when Arizona’s governor resigned to join Obama’s cabinet.
Obviously there is a lot more to her than her sexual preference. I don’t believe a her sexual preference should have anything to do with her work as governor. Why does the press?
