Discussion for article #224477
Does Kristol really believe the blibber that comes out of his mouth? It’s shocking that none of his family or friends can pull him aside, and just tell him to stifle.
To continue to invite this war monger (Kristtol) to any of the main stream media outlets is alone outrageous and beyond any sane reason to continue hearing from this disgraced and shameless neo-con,-who has never met a war they can not get us involved with. This chicken shit war hawk should stay home and not be either seen nor heard-let alone, invited to any platform of public opinions.
The only other thing I wish she could have added was “…enlist in the Iraqi Army, you lily-livered chickenhawk cowardly piece of shit.”
He is offensive, lacking in self awareness, politically wrong on a grand scale, a coward . . . . so many appropriate adjectives, so little time.
Did you all notice how this CHICKENHAWK dodged the question about joining the Iraq army
There is something seriously wrong with these shameless chicken hawks. Fortunately there is a simple cure for it, and Ms. Vanden Heuvel was gracious enough to inform that addle-pated lout, Kristol, about it.
The right keeps perpetuating the myth that Obama was the one who signed the agreement with Iraq to clear out. Everything they did, getting in, prosecuting the war, and getting out, they did ineptly and they have the balls to place the blame elsewhere.
They truly do believe in the power of the big lie."
What a scumbag this Kristol is. People like him, and Bush, and Cheney, and Rumsfeld, and Rice, etc. love to talk about war, promote war, fellate war if they could, AS LONG AS IT’S SOMEONE ELSE’S BLOOD ON THE LINE.
Sunday morning poli-TV.
By it’s makeup of cast and characters alone-- qualifies as a propaganda archetype.
One which shapes the ® narrative for the upcoming week.
In it, Kristol is not an individual offering a singular opinion; but a cog plying an approved perspective.
The talking-pawns are well-paid to shepherd the narrative.
They may-- or may not-- like what they’re doing. Doesn’t matter.
Someone-- with a semblance of a reputation-- will do it for the $$.
What would be their alternative after all? Doing nothing? For nothing?
It’s why nearly all of the old-guard editorialists have rolled-over-- for a place at the corporate media-trough.

It’s rare to see Americans from both the left and right agree on something but I think there are two points for which there is nearly universal agreement:
-
The war in Iraq was a huge mistake and we should never go back.
-
Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rice, Kristol and all the other neocons bear full responsibility for this catastrophe.
They may be getting a lot of invites for Sunday talk shows but no one will ever listen to them again. Seeing these guys brought out each week to spew their nonsense is like watching a carnival freak show.
“I have to say, sitting next to Bill Kristol, man — I mean, the
architects of catastrophe that have cost this country trillions of
dollars, thousands of lives. There should be accountability,” she said on ABC’s “This Week.”
I’ve been sayin’ that for years and now it’s something “new” in the MSM? Really?
((facepalm))
“Because this country should not go back to war," Heuvel continued. "We don’t need armchair warriors, and if you feel so strongly, you should, with all due respect, enlist in the Iraqi Army.”
In this case Ms Heuvel, due respect is not needed. Consider whom it is you are speaking to. and you are correct in prodding Mr Kristol to go to Iraq if he’s so all fired up on fighting. I mean, why spill someone else’s blood if he’s gonna brag?
Yeah, that pesky SOF agreement the right always neglects to mention…
Good on Ya Kristina…at least someone on these idiot dribble bar Sunday talk shows has the nords to call an idiot an idiot and cast blame.
I swear, I would be highly surprised if Bill Kristol could tell you the difference between a Sunni and a Shia. For a guy who promoted this war AND Sarah Palin, I’m flabbergasted he hasn’t been jailed for punditory malpractice…He’s a non-participatory war criminal.
Kristol has learned NOTHING from America’s experience in Iraq.
“Punditory malpractice”…that’s a good one!
May I appropriate That quote for use elsewhere? With appropriate credit given of course…
Right. But you’ll notice it took KVH to bring up the Bush/SOF agreement. No Sunday-show moderator would dare do that.
"What we have done to that country is a crime.”
It was a crime 12+ years ago. Still is. Bush & Co. should be ion prison or swinging at the end of ropes.
We’ve been watching a bunch of msm talking heads pussy foot around with these neander-cons for far too long. It is about time someone told Kristol to join the Iraqi army. It may have gone down on the msm, but you notice it was a woman and the editor of a decidedly non-mainstream media outlet who called Bill Kristol out to his chicken hawk face. Katrina for POTUS!
