TN one of the Souths most porn proud states. Porn, booze and smokes come close 2nd, 3rd, and 4th to guns… One can place bets there is going to be more and more of this sort of thing as the “religious freedom” crowd push more of their agenda, as the “Don’t Say Gay” and “Bible as State Book” crowd in TN try to sneak more and more in…
I also picked East TN for retirement but am mighty tired of the holier than thou crowd. Now that is it warming up it will soon be drunks and guns almost 24/7 by my home. I’m selling but don’t expect to be able to even come close to breaking even due to neighbors and guns going off as I said almost 24/7. Example, one neighbor walks less than 100 feet to his mailbox, he carries a pistol, rifle and shotgun for as he states “safety”. I have seen him drop at least one as he struggles to open the mailbox with the weapons in his hands. Got to love his definition of safety.

Got you beat by miles. 40 miles south of nashville it’s still deer hunting season, owl season, crow season, squirrel season, turkey season and anything alive season. they ride atv’s like they own every inch of property around here. there cameoed out carrying ar15 with 30 round clips, lots of them along with a few semi auto pistols.
24/7 and the sheriffs can’t handle all the calls from concerned citizens. There just generations of the old farmers and that is as far as the education went. Antagonists as the sheriff said while telling me he just bought his 12 year old a 30.06 because he is a big boy. lol And then there is Nashville. You might be safe for a moment if you own a suv mounted with a 50 cal and then somebody probably has a bigger gun or a rpg. The news butters the place up but it is constant shootings, murders, robberies, car wrecks and basically war on the streets all the time.
We be selling and moving on someday in the near future. The only problem is where. I’m researching all the time.
The Republicans and their social conservatives have been making a mockery of religion for nearly 40 years now. I’m glad someone is calling them on their fake religious liberty claims and tax exempt status for political activities.
Let’s see if the Roberts Supreme Court is willing to continue putting their credibility on the line after Citizens United as well as over the ACA and gay marriage.
Scott Walker needs to start protecting himself with the 2nd Amendment solutions instead of tripling his taxpayer-paid security detail. Conservatives create their own problems and then expect the rest of us to bail them out when they get out of control.
The American Taliban sure does seem to worship the Golden Calf of Greed and Palin is a dead ringer for a fertility idol.

They should have come out as an Islamic mosque. And, after everyone in Nashville finished tearing their hair out, come out and said, “okay then, we’ll just be a social club.” How about live and let live?

Metro Councilwoman Karen Bennett is a Goodpasture graduate who sponsored the legislation to change the zoning for private clubs. She said she will be watching to make sure the United Fellowship Center truly does operate as a church.
“I’ve heard many, many people say they’re planning to attend when it opens,” she said.
