Discussion: NASA To Launch Global Warming Satellite To Track Carbon Dioxide

Discussion for article #224478

“… launching a carbon copy.”

Cute.

and the funding for this particular satellite will be retroactively cut from the budget. future funding will be denied and current funding will have to be returned/reimbursed. you just watch…

the wapo has a story about how homeowners/developers essentially rewrote what the impact of rising shorelines is expected to be that happened to have expensive homes nearby. the dire findings would have had a negative impact on the ability to build more and sell the existing homes.

Why is the United States spending money on a Global Warming Satellite? After all such outstanding scientists as Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck, and John Boehner have told us that climate change isn’t happening and even if it is it only means the opening up of new beach front property in Nevada.

Great, so as if all global warming from all the CO2 and other greenhouse gases we’re pumping into the atmosphere weren’t making things bad enough, we have to go and actually launch a satellite to cause still more global warming?

Wait, what’s that you say?

Oh. Never mind.

(Hey, if you can’t laugh your way to the gallows, where can you laugh?)

How’s about we launch Cheney, Inhofe and an entire clown car of GOTP denialistas?

I hope this experiment works this time.

I was really looking forward to the launch of the first one, and I thought it was a bit suspicious when it went down. I blame the Chinese!

No, seriously, it’s going to be very interesting to see just how much CO2 is being produced and by whom. I hope it helps…
