personally I’d have insisted that he testify by noon today, but that’s one reason I have no future in politics.

Good. I’ve been mostly avoiding the noise. THIS is actual information we need.

Well, Congress is out until Monday and most won’t return until Tuesday. Still, I don’t get the 30 day time-frame here. Get Mueller to testify NEXT WEEK.

I just called my rep and oddly enough his office answered the phone! :open_mouth:

I am asking him and every other Dem member of Congress to push hard for hearings on this ASAP!

ETA: Backed up with an email. Let 'em hear you, America!

EDIT both part 1 and 2 is included.

Link to the Mueller, patience will be rewarded…for some reason download speed is down to something like 21.4 kbit/s or less

It’s way past time and well beyond overdue.

I suspect one very good reason to push this testimony request out to May 23rd is so that the Judiciary Committee lawyers have a lot of time to dig and they are able to ask extremely pointed and detailed questions, and prepare for backup questions based on all suspected responses.

Try https://www.voanews.com/a/4881535.html . The download is redirected from an EU site, but it took me about 5-10 seconds to get the 75 MByte download. I’m in the U.S. Midwest.

Edited to add: I saw no download rate problems from either the website you provided or the VOA website.

Go Jerry!

Reps need time to absorb the report and plan how to best make use of their time with Mueller. 30 days doesn’t seem like foot-dragging.

There’s also the hope that some of their outstanding subpoenas will be satisfied by that time. Wouldn’t it be great if they could ask Mueller, “Trump’s taxes show X. If you’d known X during your investigation, would you have reached a different conclusion about whether the burden of proof had been reached?”

May 23? Really?

Nadler is slow-walking this investigation as long as he possibly can.

They should get Mueller in next week. I am sure that each rep can think of 5 minutes worth of questions by then.

He still hasn’t issued a subpoena for the report. Says he might tomorrow.

Already the top Dems are saying it is too close to the 2020 election to impeach Trump.

Mitch McConnell rules their world.
