Bring it Nads! Isn’t AOC on this committee? Can’t wait to see what she is going to ask.

I trust the Democrats to keep trying to get at the truth. I’m also not very optimistic that it will happen. I kept hoping there would be some reckoning for Merrick Garland, that the GOP would be unable to stick with Trump when he schmoozed with dictators, that there would be some ground swell to remove a leader who was an international embarrassment - and dangerous, but it hasn’t happened. I’m in an airport traveling for work and I’ll do my best at my job, I’ll stay close to my kids, and I’ll work for important causes in my community. But right now, I can’t be hopeful that good will win out.

Ever had occasional doubts about other things you know you really believe in? It’s not the best day. Others will be better. Have a good trip.

My understanding of DoJ’s position is that there can’t be obstruction of justice unless the activity that is being covered up meets the high standard for federal prosecution. Even if there is plenty of evidence of the initial suspect activity and even more evidence that Trump obstructed.

IANAL, but wouldn’t this set a terrible precedent that totally encourages rampant obstruction?

All we can do Marb …
Are the simple tasks that are before us to do —

It sounds as though you are giving of yourself already … with no thought of ’ reward ’ …

I can’t see how that translates into anything but … good —

That’s how we fight… and that’s how we win …
We give of ourselves daily to others and for others …
and I say good for you ! … I’m glad you are here with us ! —

It becomes an issue for Congress now. The DoJ has no final say of power over Congress. This is where it was headed all along.

I remain perplexed why people are taking a 16-page book report that does not even quote the full report in full at all as The End of All Things. None of this is over, not by a long shot. And that ain’t hopeful blather, either.

We all have those days, and at my age I’ve had a lot of them. But with people like you doing the best you can, every day, good WILL win. We all need to cheer each other on when a slump hits and I see that already your TPM cohorts are doing so. Keep on with what is right, and you’ll get to see some justice and know that your efforts helped. Know that what we all do matters.

Your children are the future. Are you going to give up on that?

Hardly.

Clarifying: AOC is on House Oversight committee and Financial Services committees. I suppose Oversight will a committee that is relevant here though.
