I’m afraid we’re beginning to look a bit silly.

’Fishwrap’ fake news campaign recycles old news of terror attacks
Analytics firm finds network of over 200 accounts sharing ‘news’ of old incidents
https://www.theguardian.com/media/2019/jun/12/fishwrap-fake-news-campaign-recycles-old-news-of-terror-attacks
The accounts shared “news” about incidents such as the 2015 Paris terror attacks but with the date and other context removed in an apparent attempt to make the news go viral a second time.
“There are two candidates here,” Truvé said. “It’s either a state-sponsored misinformation campaign, or it’s a domestic alt-right thing, because it is focused on terror events to do with Muslims. Or it could be what we call ‘operational preparedness’ – they’re up, active, creating history for themselves and their accounts, and then they want to use it in the future to spread original fake news.”

I guess they’re accomodating the time of the hearing with the presidential campaign schudules.

Gee, maybe we should stop second-guessing the actions of those we elect to represent us in the Congress. I guess some of us are just smarter than them; maybe a certain resident troll should run for office instead of wasting our time posting here?

I wish I shared Rep. Nadler’s optimism. It appears Robert Mueller will have to be dragged in front of the committee. That is most unfortunate.

Here’s how optics work:

Says the average, not-a-politics-junky, voting American: “The fact that Nadler is so obviously reluctant to get Mueller in front of the cameras means that he knows that Mueller’s testimony won’t reveal any wrongdoing by Trump. That must mean that the Dems actually are making all of this up.”

I did not vote for Pelosi, McConnell, or Trump. Did you vote for any of them?

Do you think that just because somebody has a “D” after their name that they should not have their decisions questioned? Or are they infallible?

Question authority, regardless of party. It is a good thing.

Nadler held up a stack of paper and revealed it is in fact “strongly worded” letters that will be sent out if he continues to be stonewalled by everyone in the Trump Crime Administration. He boldly added that if the strongly worded letters fail to accomplish his goals, he will pull out the big guns and start calling Trump officials names; names like Poopy-pants, Farty-fart, Stinky-breath, Fatso and even might resort to saying, “I know you are but what am I” or “Same to you but more of it”.
