Discussion for article #234845
Have we really gotten so low in our nation that some politicians will mock our youth for wanting to learn about our government and even partake in it by introducing a bill that is totally innocuous and that nearly every state and municipality in the land has many laws that are so similar as to only be different by the animal named therein? Seriously? What an ass the one guy is who felt the need to drag in the topic of abortion – Jesus H. Christ!!
Good, though, these students’ efforts are being taken seriously in the end. That said, I hope they remember well this incident and how indescribably hateful others might be. Yes, you will confront bullies like this from time to time but you do your best, be honest about your intentions and try not to lower yourselves to this asshole’s level if/when a direct response from you is required.
There. Carry on.
Too little too late.
Well, Thank God that the universal symbol of the United States of America isn’t some sort of raptor that, LITERALLY, rips its prey apart, limb-from-limb and starts eating it while it’s still alive. EXACTLY what abortionists do when they feed on innocent, blue-eyed unborn babies!
I mean … wouldn’t that be some irony if being an American patriot meant rallying behind something like a species of eagle? Or something.
I guess the time spent discussing the Bobcat bill wasn’t trivial or a waste of time. Oh, I forgot, that’s because the Bobcat cooks its food, sits at the table, politely uses a knife and spoon, and rarely remembers that its current meal was recently another living organism.
The bald eagle is more likely to feed on carrion. Or steal from more successful hunters. Anyone looking for symbolism, have at it.
