Discussion for article #231996
Man, it would be nice to get some Democrats with at least half the balls this guy is packing.
Now that, ladies and gents, was epic and well deserved. .
Richly deserved. Lemon has no worth and no shame.
Don Lemon question was undoubtedly dumb but certainly not racist.
My bad about the lawyer being racist, after reading the article again I think I got it wrong the first time. Never mind, carry onâŚ
Best. Takedown. Recently.
You know maybe CNN is on to something here. After all, making stuff up worked for Fox News.
How is it racist?
When CNN hands you a Lemon, make Lemon-aid!
This plus British Prime Minister Cameron calling the FakeNews terrorism expert an idiot are awesome responses to these Cable News morons. More of this please. Hopefully this is the start of a trend in calling these clowns out for their ridiculous statements that often go unchallenged.
Nope not racist. Don Lemon asked a woman making a rape accusation, why she couldnât have just bit the penis of her attacker, and said that perhaps the missing Malaysian flight had âdisappearedâ into a black hole. Heâs a moron, and the criticism is accurate and justified.
how do you figure racist? Lemon did ask if the disappeared Malaysian air plane went into a black hole, like in the FICTIONAL show âLostâ, and he did suggest that penis biting was an antidote to rape, in addition to other fantastically stupid on air comments.
Agree. Cameron did not hold back and I guess Fox Land must be surprised by the jab from a Conservative - I am looking at you El Ruperto!!! As for Don: âLemonâ says it. This guy is useless. Why does CNN keep him on?

EDIT: Since the troll edited his comment completely?
Here it is in itsâ original form::
Don Lemon question was undoubtedly dumb but certainly not racist.
On the other hand this âmuslim lawyerâ rant:
It is a sincere honor to be added to the litany of famous âMalaysian-black-hole-penis-bitingâ Don Lemon media gaffesâŚ
Is absolutely, 100% racist.
thatâs gonna leave a mark
Itâs obvious Lemon got that cue from conservatives. Itâs pretty standard for them to not only stand against an evil group, but to act assured that liberals must be huge supporters of evil. And that means that because liberals are against racism in Ferguson that we must support looters and rioters (an accusation I read just earlier today). And because we want to help the poor that we want everyone to be lazy and supported by the rich. And because we donât think all Muslims are evil, that we support ISIS and any other evil Muslim groups.
And it doesnât matter how much we protest this, they simply refuse to believe that thereâs a middle position between hating an entire group of people or supporting everyone within the group. As if every Muslim supports all Muslims, and every black person supports all black people, and every liberal supports all liberals; regardless of what any of them do or say. Yet when you try to point out that they donât use this standard for their own group, they donât even see how thatâs applicable. OF COURSE not all white people are the same, but thatâs besides the point, since white people are magically different. Weâre the judges, not the judged. Duh! Itâs only the other side thatâs an evil monolithic group and youâre either with them or youâre against them. Nuance is for the weak.
Puppies thinks to self âBlack-hole-penis, must be racist. And sexist. Surely something bad.â
In Puppiesâ defense, I didnât get the original reference either. I thought Black Hole Penis might have been one of Soundgardenâs lesser songs.
But when I donât immediately get a reference, I tend to keep my mouth shut and not embarrass myself. Thatâs why I didnât say anything until after it was explained.
Cable news is more damaging and a much bigger threat to America than any Islamic terror organization.
Hey, youâre not supposed to completely edit your original comment. That makes the message chain look weird.
And hereâs why Lemonâs question was offensive: If youâre talking to a white civil rights lawyer, would it be a fair question to ask him if he supports the Klan because theyâre also white? Or is that obviously stupid, by virtue of you already knowing heâs a civil rights lawyer and therefore wouldnât support the Klan, regardless of his skin color?
Now the only issue why this wouldnât be âracistâ is because Muslim isnât technically a race. But frankly, I find that to be a distinction without any real merit. The main point is to lump people together based on broad categories, and assume that everyone in that category is the same unless they explicitly state otherwise. But you donât need to ask a human rights lawyer if they support cruelty and death just because people of the same group do it. Particularly since by the standards of religion, there are many different types of Muslims just as there are many different types of Christians. Itâs dumb to ask a Catholic why they oppose drinking alcohol and dancing, because thatâs a different sect of Christians who do that. And if youâre interviewing a religious expert, you should at least have a basic understanding of what they believe.
