He’s a Republican and his lips are moving, so don’t trust a thing he says.

They’re just trying to give middle and lower class folks every opportunity to become homeless and die in the streets.

Give Ben a break. HUD is just his hobby for Christ’s sake.

Artist’s conception of Mulvaney’s statement:

Well at least this time they are lying TO YOUR FACE while they implode the economy. Make sure your houses are paid off and the money’s under the mattress!

That “bigger program” Uncle Ben’s Cracked Rice wants to move money into will probably build pyramids for urban grain storage.

Well the good news for asshole conservatives is that once all those “urban” types lose their home allowances they’ll move out to the red rural areas and be their neighbors.

This administration is rank evil. Mulvaney has some particular whoppers in here that would wake Dickens from his grave to write another chapter of A Tale of Two Cities. Dickens would find his own characterization of cruelty to the poor unsatisfying after watching today’s spectacle.

“These do not mean the President is changing his commitment to infrastructure. Far from it,” he said. “For years and years we have built infrastructure like this and it doesn’t work very well. So what we’re doing now is taking it out of the discretionary budget and move it into the larger infrastructure.”

Yeah…riiiiiiiiiiiiiight. Somebody’s gotta pay for TrumptyDumpty’s golf trips… and his TrumptyDumpty Wall and it sure as hell isn’t going to be the megaGazillionaire’s paying taxes.

gut EPA - check
gut HUD - check
on edit - forgot about making required immunizations up to the states - poor children will not be forgotten by this administration

The GOP wants low income Americans to die as quickly as possible so that the rich vultures can feast on the American carnage

Of course not. Kicking people out of their homes is far too labor intensive. Instead stormtroopers will be going door to door with flamethrowers.

Awwwwww @benthere The country’s just going through a period of maladjustment…

“No one will get kicked out of their houses”

Okay, first of all, these people don’t have “houses” - they may get some rental assistance but that doesn’t rent “houses” in most areas.

Second, they will no longer be able to heat their places of residence, nor will they be able to eat or access healthcare.

Sounds like the plan is to keep a basic roof over their heads until they die. Seems spot on for these selfish Christianists.

Those plus a flood of guns are the Republican way of reducing poverty… making sure all the por kick the buck…

They’re going to move that function over to Mnuchin at Treasury to take advantage of his extensive experience in robo-signing foreclosures.
