Discussion: Mueller Unveils Witness For Manafort Trial Starting Next Week

Well then that includes Paul Manafort which doesn’t make him less guilty.

Just because it’s not uncommon doesn’t mean it’s aways innocent.

Besides Podesta and the fact that she was SOS so she has met Putin, what do you mean?

His guilt is not going to be based on him having worked as a political consultant for some unsavory characters. That’s not illegal.

Hmm…between this and Kavanaugh spending absurd amounts on Nationals tickets; since they’re Republicans, I have to think there’s probably a money laundering angle with baseball tickets…until proven otherwise.

Why would you not count Podesta?

You miss my point entirely = he was paid political consultant. That does not preclude his being also: Putin’s agent for example.

You can’t impute innocence to people on account of their having a reason for having ties to Russia and all those contacts.

The fact he has lawyers that accepted working for him tells me no. They see billables raining from the heavens. Plus all the speaking engagements later on. I sure he can appreciate catching them on the news in the rec room later.

Yes we know: the $400 trillion dollars purloined from the Clinton Foundation via Bill Browder with cooperation from Uranium One.

The best part? SHE DID IT IN THE NAME OF VINCE FOSTER.

I don’t impute innocence. I’m saying political consultants are hired guns. You don’t hire them based on whether they’re good guys. You hire to win. I have no idea how you pulled “imputing innocence” out of that.

Podesta, or Podesta Group?
As I vaguely and not necessarily accurately recall, it was John Podesta’s brother that ran Podesta Group, which was believed to have done lobbying work for some Russians or Russian entities.

I can just see Mueller acknowledging Junior -as he settles into his comfortable first class seat -with a little wink.

Those dancers are great.

Yes, and John D. has also worked for Russian-affiliated concerns. I’m just pointing out it’s a losing position to correlate guilt with the nationalities of past clients of political consultants. Do I always have to spell everything out?

Yes, and he’s a Democrat.

Not a chance.

Eight hundred and forty-nine grand to a “men’s clothing store”?! What the fuck did he do, throw everything away when he changed clothes? In round numbers that’s roughly ten years of my best earnings. (Yeah, I know, poor career choice. How was I to know sixty years ago? Engineering seemed like a great idea, particularly when the Rooskies had just done that Sputnik stunt.)

Aaand, the motherfucker is going to live at public expense the rest of his life, with all of us chipping in for his three hots and a cot. Course he won’t be getting around much, so there’s that.

To clarify, the douchey-looking brah with the ample middle-aged man-breasts, expanding gut and camo cap is none other than Don Jr.
