Discussion: Mueller Subpoenas Roger Stone's One-Time Social Media Aide

You know, Roger could plead “insanity” and I’d have a hard time arguing against that. But, yeah, he should be put somewhere where he can’t be a threat to himself or anyone else, Arkham Asylum, for example.

Obvious a low fiber, low ethics diet gives you a case of Trump Dump.

What is now an old joke of mine, but any where they force him to buy off the rack is fine.

I’ve got your soundtrack right here.

Seems Mueller’s made the links I think. It would be fucking hilarious if Mueller’s team requests that Assange’s extradition be demanded and that he be produced and Trump flips his noodle over it.

Jeet Heer noted how fascinating it was that they haven’t spoken to Stone.

Reminder: Grand Juries are about presenting enough evidence to get indictments.

Are the targets of this kind of an investigation interviewed at this point in the process?

I believe the guidelines they use indicate that once a person becomes a target, you shouldn’t talk to them without telling them they’re a target. The sense I got was that they think it’s better not to talk to a target at all, but they’re balancing that against not depriving a wrongly-targeted target of the opportunity to clear his/her/it’s name.

So if they’re not talking to you, it means you are a target but they aren’t ready to tell you that yet.

Oh jeez, I luv this. Stone and some others were called themselves “rat fuckers” for their dirty tricks on Dem candidates.

I will throw a party when this little shit gets shipped off to the joint.

And a subject can easily become a target at basically any point, is that correct?

It’s safe to say Stone has no “advanced knowledge” whatsoever. The term you are looking for is “advance knowledge.”

Not easily. It requires sufficient corroborating evidence of criminal wrongdoing.

It just looks easy because nearly everyone in Trump’s orbit is a criminal.
