If past performance is any indication, the Democrats will make it inevitable by nominating the likes of Michael Dukakis or John Kerry. Tim Kaine comes to mind.

I wonder if these hirings had to be OK’d by Rosenstein, or if Mueller can do this on his own authority? Regardless, it seems Trump will have to have a Tweet-rage over this soon.

Trump’s point of view regarding everyone and everything other than himself.

In fact, I’m quite certain that underneath all the boasting and self-congratulation this is Trump’s actual view of himself as well.

Right. And as in the case of Cohen, if prosecutors can show that state crimes (as opposed to federal ones) were committed, those accused/convicted can’t be pardoned by Trump.

Here’s a weird question: If Trump is shown to be guilty of a state crime, can he pardon himself? (Assuming, of course, it’s “decided” that he can pardon himself if indicted for federal crimes.)

Trump likely can’t stomach the thought of anyone getting rich and garnering press attention once he’s passed from this world. He can allow no one to be fabulous, amazing and great once he’s gone. So, vaporizing the planet makes perfect sense as a solution to that problem.

This thing must be moving closer to the Koch Brothers. No wonder David had to retire quickly.

All of it. You prosecute all of it. Rule. Of. Law.

The Trump Crime Syndicate must present a daunting challenge to the modest team Mueller has assembled.

nothing to do with politics and is spurred on by the increasingly unprecedented number of lawsuits against his probe.

If there weren’t so many complicit Republicans, he wouldn’t need more prosecutors. It is one bigly, ugly swamp he is trying to drain.

I’ve said previously that once the indictments begin it’ll look like a ticker-tape parade as they fly like confetti. Now I’m thinking that description might be inadequate.

“Release the pigeons, Bob. Bring on the dancing bear. Let this bacchanal begin.”

i may be wrong but i think there’s a case heading to the SCOTUS that may effectively extend the pardon power to state courts (something about state double jeopardy after a pardon). i think this will get there after this a-hole seats his next justice… seems incredibly crooked to me, though what do we really expect?

That we are paying for. Let’s not forget that part.

I think we can all agree that through it all the MSM will be too busy covering the merits of who should be running in a safe D district.

Agreed. There will be so many, all at once, that they will be incapable of sifting through them all to form any coherent response. They will drown.
