Exactly.
An exploding canardâeverybody duck!
Pence is a dime a dozen in the GOP. When people get sick of shitty GOP Presidents, guys like him will stop being competitive. Imo, Pence is vapor. Heâs barely there. Whether itâs him or some other empty suit, theyâll get the same percentage of the vote. Itâs about whether the Democrats get their coalition together.
The Human Q-Tip is a total horrorâbut heâs better than Trump.
Mostly because heâs more boring and gutless
Seems like collusion to me. Takes two to tango, know what I mean?
Otherwise itâll be an exploding Canarda goose.
Pence would lose in a landslide.
The implications of Trumpâs wrong doing (to put it mildly) in the redacted report are bad enough, I can only imagine how bad he will look in the unredacted version. Bring it on!
I was led to understand that the two of them were close friends. I wonder if their relationship was a factor here? Or possibly Mueller was able to set aside the relationship? Perhaps Nadler and Schiff should ask him.
You were led astray.
They used to work together.
End of story.
Your scenario is reasonable but it wonât happen. Itâs just not in Trump to give up sitting in the driverâs seat.
Impeachment serves many purposes, not just removal from office. It serves notice to the President that he/she is not above reproach and there are consequences for corruption, obstruction, and taking aid from an enemy. If he is not impeached that sends a signal that all of this is OK, and in the words of Chairman Schiff, itâs not OK.
If you canât believe TPM posters, who can you believe? Iâm sick over this development.
Also,
Itâs not everyday one gets to see the word âcanardâ in a headline. Sweet!
A) Pence is just as bad, if not worse, as he at least hides his despicableness under a veneer of respectability.
B) Trump knows Republican senators have his back, so impeachment means nothing.
The Senate and the federal courts, including the SCOTUS, will make it very hard for anything substantive to come of this - even after Trump leaves office.
If trump believed his actions were criminal and they motivated him to get others to cover for him that would be corrupt intent and obstruction. No matter what he says publicly.
Barr volunteered to have his reputation destroyed by Trump, and that is exactly what happened. Too bad Bill, a few weeks ago you were held in high regard by the legal community. Now no self respecting lawyer will believe a word you say. A reputation is a terrible thing to waste.
I hope Pelosi and the Dems start demanding answers from all the 2020 candidates if they believe their AG should follow up prosecution of Trump for his illegal activities while in office. Keep the idea in the news. Personally, Iâd rather see him prosecuted after he leaves office.
