Not too weird, considering that his payments from Russia may depend on his continuing to advocate for Putin in the rest of the world. This could be the product that gets him December’s check.
Do these guys have legal counsel? They have access to incredible sums of money, yet seem to somehow be getting terrible legal advice.
He is probably learning extreme self defense right now, knowing where he will soon be living.
What else could he do? Scammers gotta scam. It’s in their nature.
The Donald surrounds himself with the bestest and brightest people. We have yet to see any of them.
Perhaps he needs an excuse not to go out anywhere. Like for tea.

Many people who have hitherto been skeptical about this scandal may now think twice with such a headline. Manafort has done himself and the administration no favors with his latest exercise in hubris.
Mueller’s team is on it and fast. His butt needs to be in a cell with no access to anyone except his lawyer and family visits behind glass.
Got arrogance?
This could have been a middle finger from Manafort to Mueller just to be as big a prick as Manafort can be. Mueller really needs to cage this treasonous scum for about 20 years, even if it’s at a minimum security big house. Manafort is an arrogant asshole who needs to be taught a very clear lesson.

What incredible arrogance. Manafort negotiates a more lenient bail, then violates the terms and thinks he can get away with it. Does he still have deals with Russia or the Ukraine to push their propaganda? Maybe he was just trying to earn December’s paycheck on the sly.
Also, it could be that Mueller gave Manafort just enough rope to see if he’d hang himself. Done!
