At this point I’m surprised that the people around Trump has kept him from firing Mueller to try to prevent getting impeached and/or going to jail after he’s out of office. Things will get real interesting if Mueller offers Roger Stone immunity in exchange for full disclosure of what they were talking about during these late night chats.
His announcement that he would be making a big speech regarding Hillary Clinton’s crimes and then cancelling it a week later and having that coincide with the now-infamous Trump Tower meeting between his son and that Russian “lawyer” is enough to boot him out of office alone. Couple that with Stone confirming that Trump had advanced knowledge of the Wikileaks contents and it’s game over.
You know a hard as Mueller’s slowly unfolding revelations are for us that want Donald out ASAP. It must really be excruciating on him and is probably why the things he does and says keep getting more bat shit crazy every day.
Stone is the person with enough hubris to try to beat Mueller. If anyone will hold out until the end, it is him. However, I think that makes him the most likely to die in jail out of the whole bunch.

Can Mueller get to calls made on a “blocked” number?
An article published yesterday said that Mueller is trying to get access to this blocked number now. We’ll see if that is possible. I assume it’s a trivial matter these days for law enforcement.
How stupid are these guys? Did they really figure when it’s late at night the folks from the CIA and FBI are all in their Dr. Dentons and asleep? You just wait to talk about international conspiracies until after it’s milk and cookies time? Really? It’s the spook version of “tube training,” where you think watching movies teaches you how to do it. It doesn’t work with guns and evidently it doesn’t work with telephones either. Idiots.

No! I literally can’t believe they’re that stupid, and I call them stupid all the time. I put effort into understanding how stupid they are, into accepting it as a difficult thing emotionally to grasp, but JFC that’s way beyond anything I ever heard of. When these people are on you they are on you. They record everything you do. They can look at every computer keystroke. I cannot cannot cannot believe my own lying eyes on this one.

I think that part of what is happening is that Trump got away with this type of crap for his entire adult life and he isn’t smart enough to figure out that breaking the rules is harder to do when you run for public office. The most disgusting thing is that he and many others break the law on a regular basis and never have to pay the price. Trump and his cohorts should have been in jail 20 years ago. The willingness of law enforcement to look the other way when rich people break the law is a big part of what landed us in this mess. The Obama administration should have gone after the bankers and a lot of other miscreants from the very start but they held back and the worst of the Bush administration returned to power – John Bolton is a prime example.
I don’t think its ‘stupidity’…they think they can outsmart MUELLER and that TRUMPf has the IC ,. FBI etc. under control. and if worse comes to worse, TRUMPf will pardon them.
Randy Credico, last night, tweeted a bunch of things like Stone has the goods to take down Trump, then deleted his account. Something going on.
