Discussion: Mueller Eases Up, Will Now Accept Trump’s Written Answers On Russian Election Tampering

Anyone think that Trump could pass the U.S. Citizenship test that immigrants must pass to become citizens? Anyone think Obama, Clinton and Carter couldn’t?

That’s just not fair. The Clinton’s had murdered like 170 people by that point, Newt, a man of unimpeachable character, was trying to save America.

Pretty stark when you put it so succinctly, isn’t it?

When Nixon’s impeachment came up for a committee vote, one Republican supported all 3 articles. That one Republican was Larry Hogan. While in law school, he’d been an FBI agent. Here’s what he said about Nixon with tears in his eyes, and to me it has been unforgettable:

The fact is, and the thing that’s so appalling to me is that the President, when this whole idea was suggested to him, didn’t, in righteous indignation, rise up and say,

Get out of here, you’re in the office of the President of the United States. How can you talk about blackmail and bribery and keeping witnesses silent? This is the Presidency of the United States!

and throw them out of his office and pick up the phone and call the Department of Justice and tell them, there’s an obstruction of justice going on, someone’s trying to buy the silence of a witness. [Here Larry pauses.] But my President didn’t do that. [Here his voice breaks.] He sat there and he worked and worked to try to cover this thing up so it wouldn’t come to light. He didn’t have to [find out] because he already knew, and he consistently tried to cover up the evidence and obstruct justice. And as much as it pains me to say it, he should be impeached and removed from office.

Larry was from Boston. I disagreed with him on many things; he was a conservative who had steadfastly supported Nixon. But he died just last year. All who knew him miss him dearly.

I didn’t see your deleted, but that wasn’t my finest example of writing, lol. Last sentence was supposed to refer to freshman English class instructors.

I’ve often said that the biggest problem with student writing is that they are required to fill up a certain amount of space, so they do.

I wrote an essay about that very subject in Freshman English, actually. Not very original I’m sure but I was in a shitty mood that day. I think we were supposed to write about what made good college writing, lol.

No, that’s a very long way off. He has most of the facts, but he wants to interview EVERYONE as well. If he divulges what he knows, he lessens the chance of getting perjury/lying to Feds charges. Plus people fearful of those charges will divulge things that might not be known.

Patience. Chess takes time. There is not a hope Trump will be impeached by this House anyway, so the report coming after the new Congress is fine.

Meanwhile, yes, expect some indictments in the near future. But then he will hold off on others until after the Midterm elections, so it might not be a good holiday season for the Trump crowd.

At least 170 that we know about. That’s the funny thing about the Deep State; they’ll only let you get away 170 murders. After that, they have to start covering them up.

My question is more along the lines of whether there’s any factual basis for this claim, or whether it’s yet another lie from the administration, because they know Mueller doesn’t leak.

rudy and kellyanne will get together and brainstorm the responses. i suspect there may be a good deal of deflection and serpentine logic.

Hopefully, the guy who took all his exams for him at Wharton is still available or maybe the ghostwriter for “Art of the Deal”.

“What color crayons will the president be allowed to use?”

“Not hard for t Rump. He lies in print daily… sometimes a dozen times a day. They’re called tweets!”

great idea. in the interest of full transparency, the questions and answers should be provided in tweets.

Except some of the questions will be on matters that Trump has tweeted or spoken about. You can’t say “I don’t recall” when you tweeted a responive statement six months ago.

BIG WIN for our SIDE. YOU can’t DO PURGER trap with WRITTEN answers. BECAUSE THEY’re NOT CERTIFIED! HHAHA.

“Lol. He got caught with his hand in the cookie jar, and it’s holding a bloody knife and there’s a corpse in the next room”

  1. that’s a twinkie jar not a cookie jar.
  2. it’s a smoking gun, not a knife.
  3. and that ain’t no corpse. that’s kellyanne.
