It was one of the most craven, unprofessional and unethical acts of journalistic misfeasance when MSNBC left these Morning Ho’s on the air after they were caught RED-HANDED (well, open-mic’d) PLANNING their questioning of Trump, promising they would “go soft” on him, kissing up to him before an interview. It was as obscene as Faux News’ leaving liar O’Reilly on the air after Mother Jones and numerous other entities demonstrated conclusively how O’Reilly completely fabricated “reporting” stories in the past. In both instances, there should have been without question, at the least, a suspension. Of course, one does not expect it of Faux. But I and many others expected more of MSNBC. They lost my respect and my viewership

Trump demonstrates why the old “equal time” rule had a sound justification. Had the media been required to actually provide even the appearance of balanced coverage during this campaign Trump would have had only a fraction of the air time he was given.
Trump has proven that the media does not live up to it’s responsibility as the provider of invormation needed for a representative democracy to function. We need to reevaluate the preferential treatment given to them.

Trump has a lengthy list of nonsensical statements every journo should have at the ready when interviewing him. They're famously blatant lies and falsehoods, or idiotic on their face. He was against the Iraq war before it started. He thinks the U.S. can negotiate down debt. He will deport 11 million illegal/undocumented aliens during his Presidency. For those doing the math, assuming two terms, that's 628 people per hour, every hour of every day, for 730 consecutive days, no interruptions. You can go on for pages and pages of this stuff. Yet he can say something in an interview and it's "OK, now, let's move on to another subject" from the interviewer. Halperin implies Trump needs positive coverage to win. He's not already getting that, free, hours and hours a week, right now?Who watches these two clowns?
