The only reason I can ever come up with is so they can claim–persuasively or not–they have just as “fair and balanced” a network as that other entertainment channel. MSNBC does have some really good talent, but it is people like Scarborough and his hissy-fit rants with nonsensical “logic” that detract from the overall picture.

re the others – geist is just putting in time until matt lauer gets the boot. ford just drops by for coffee on his way to his morgan stanley job; and barnicle is there for the green room buffet.

i was a pretty consistent viewer just because the other morning programs are so wretched; and i figured this provided a better insight into wdc groupthink. but it’s become utterly unwatchable; and if i don’t completely bail, it’s on mute cause i just cannot stand that prick.

Oh please, he’s a dick but that dead intern nonsense is no different than the FOX crowd with the “Vince Foster” crap. Joe Scarborough did not kill his intern. She had a disease, and the symptoms of it were totally consistent with the people who saw here that afternoon at the office, including the person who delivered the mail. So your conspiracy even involved the USPS, etc. Plus her family is very confident with the explanation of her death, including her husband. People have accidents and die.

You actually think Scarborough, who was not even in the area at the time, would hire a person to kill her, and not only that do it in HIS office? Seriously?

Morning Joe ratings have been tanking, so they are likely seeking a replacement. Plus him going ballistic is probably his response to tanking ratings, he knows controversy sells. Frankly there are too many cable “news” shows, they should purge all of them. MSNBC and FOX have turned into a total joke, with FOX being 10 times the joke.
