Discussion: Morning Joe Hosts Don't Believe Gillibrand 'Chubby' Comment Was By Inouye

Discussion for article #227969

My guess is that was their practiced reaction to a name being released, regardless of who the name was. This is why it’s ridiculous for Morning Shmoe and the rest of the RWEC to demand names, because they’ll only shoot them down.

Oh, and Mika? It’s not real smooth to say Gillibrand’s staff is “blaming the dead guy” after you share that Strom Thurmond pinched you.

This is News, how? This whole Gillibrand “Chubby-gate” is making me rather nauseous. Who really gives a crap what specific senator called her chubby or whatever. Isn’t it enough to say that everyone acknowledges that there’s chauvinistic assholes in congress and move on?

P.S. And who gives a double crap about what a bunch of prattling, vacuous ninnies (a.k.a.the Morning Joe crew) think about it.

Be a little more critical of Jughead, then maybe people will care what you say Mika.

Vapid morons, the whole Morning Jerk crew.

Amount of time spent on talking about who she was talking about vs amount of time spent talking about the climate protest.

I don’t (can’t take them) watch Morning Joe…but I love that you pointed out the story of Mika and Strom…hope you send that to the show giving her a pointed reminder.

Well, I’m glad that’s settled. We can confidently define reality based on what the talking heads at a benighted MSNBC morning talk show do or don’t believe.

How is this story “news”?

TPM: The hosts of Morning Joe were clear on Tuesday: they don’t believe that the late Sen. Daniel Inouye (D-HI) was the senator who told her not to “lose too much weight now. I like my girls chubby!”

And I don’t believe Joe and Mika are real people. I think they’re 3D animations rendered by ISIL on a processor farm in the Middle East for the specific purpose of irritating us into giving up in hopelessness and frustration with US televised political discourse and committing suicide.

What difference does it make who sad it? There are plenty of pigs in Congress just like everywhere else. And isn’t that the real point?

Who gives a crap what these people believe? Whatever happened to hard news???

This is not a serious show and these are not serious people.

Finally a topic suited to this cable brain trust, a game of Clue (Senator Mustard in the cloakroom with a bran muffin) for those without one.

I absolutely, positively do not care. What is with all this Boring Joe nonsense on TPM? There are plenty of substantive issues that could use more coverage, umm, like climate change and the possible destruction of the human race.

WHAT THE FUCK?!!

You don’t buy it? Do you have any evidence whatsoever that it wasn’t Inouye? Do you have any evidence at all that a Gillibrand staffer suggested it was?

And as for

“Would either of you feel comfortable grabby my tummy right now?”

Christ on a fucking bike, what is she on? And did she really just claim that because two men said on live television that they would not like to grab her tummy on live television, that that means that sexism and groping don’t exist?

I say again.

WHAT THE FUCK?

This is really sad. There are times when these folks make “Fox and Friends” seem like a Mensa meeting.

Personally, I gave up watching several months ago. I’d rather watch local news digging into the car accidents and murders.

This is what Gillibrand gets for answering Jughead’s and Bimbo’s trolls. They were always going to not believe her.

I mostly kind of enjoy reading the occasional Morning Joe articles, but this, this one doesn’t even have any comedy value, its just stupid.

Does anyone really care what Joe Scarbitch or Blondie Bubblehead think???

“So you think somebody on her staff’s trying to blame the dead guy so they don’t like, starting asking the live guy?” Scarborough asked.

???

So someone on Gillibrand’s staff named Inouye? Because I don’t remember the story citing her staff; they said it was unnamed sources pointing the finger.
