We’re frequently asked to cut the cable news/talk programs some slack because they have the 24/7 schedule and run out of news to cover. Aljazeera and BBC schedule news and feature/discussion programs and never have that problem. MSNBC couldn’t be bothered last night to even run a banner at the bottom of the screen to inform us of results in important primaries. We don’t need comic relief, we need constructive commentary on the news, as well as news as it is happening.
