This is going to sound weird, but there were FOUR ex-Presidents there, each with his own security detail. Um, he would not have been more disruptive. At least not that much.

The disruption would’ve been that Barbara Bush hated him.

I’m glad Trump chose to stay home. He is unable to not try and make everything about HIM. This was HER day. She gave so much to others that it was time to honor her. It was very nice.

President Donald Trump did not attend to avoid security disruptions and “out of respect for the Bush family and friends attending the service,” according to the White House. He said his thoughts were with the family.

Four former presidents AND current FLOTUS and tRump couldn’t attend? He’s redefining the job of POTUS in the worse way. There are things about the job that are not easy and are purely ceremonial, and tRump clearly puts his personal comfort ahead of the job as head of state. He hates the Bush,Clinton and Obama Families and all were there.

It must be nice not to have to grow up…

Condolences to the Bush family. It isn’t easy tp produce two lousy presidents from one family.

Probably a moral failing on my part but I just don’t care. I was happy to see that old political whore Margaret Thatcher dead but on this I’m neutral. Lost no tears over that harpie Nancy Reagan either.
