Nothing new here. The GOP is the anti Democratic Party of voter suppression.

This kind of thing ought to be on national Dem ads, esp in response to any and all complaints about “rigged” elections.

The sheer hypocrisy of this-- and a ton of other Trump/GOP claims (honesty, money, potential and actual criminality-- needs to be front and center.

With today and 2 more days of early voting in NC,it was a great time for this to come out.

I am surprised these assholes have not figured out a way to allow registered Republicans only to vote by mail or online.

“Dallas” has two mentions here, one for the handcuff-on-national-TV trick, and this voter suppression thing. The GOP’s well-to-do owners are making a list, and checking it twice, and “Dallas” will be the recipient of a pat on the back and a hearty “Good Bitch!!”

I once had a coworker from NC, and I asked why he moved from NC as there were various excellent job opportunities in our field in NC (Research Triangle Park).

His answer: “NC is insane.”

I’m confident that both the MSM and alt-right media complex will give this email scandal the same attention it has lavished on HRC and Comey will send an appropriate letter to Congress.

Sorry to be asking a question that I guess I should know: why are elections partisan and run at the local level again? Federalism? State-Rights? Custom?

In the Reuters report, a GOP county elections board chairman, Bill McAnulty, said he initially favored a Sunday voting site in his county, but withdrew his support after facing the GOP blowback.

“I became a villain, quite frankly,” McAnulty said. “I got accused of being a traitor and everything else by the Republican Party."

See, this is what happens when you put your country before your party. That is the real definition of treason for Republicans.

Unfortunately, it still wields significant power and will not go down without a fight.

Well, well, well: we sent thousands of military personnel to take out evil Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein and to protect our way of life…when we should have been deploying them stateside since a thousand little mini Saddam Husseins are intent on taking away our freedoms.

I am so glad President Obama is taking up voting rights when his term is over. It’s shameful anyone, let alone an entire political party, tries to deny people the right to vote. But if there’s one person I completely trust to move the needle on that front it’s President Obama.

They took Saddam out because they wanted his oil, that had almost nothing to do with freedom and everything to do with the oil barons’ way of life.
