it was true that there were certain precincts in Philly that did not have a single vote for Mitt.

Many of them only had a small number of voters in them (a very few dozen) and almost no Republican voters. They also happened to have a very high proportion of AA residents. Golly, every single one of them voted for the black guy over the Mormon? Shocking! Black folks don’t vote for the party that shits on them every chance it gets? Doubly shocking!

Then someone went out and found precincts in places like Alabama and Mississippi and Wyoming and Louisiana where not a single vote was cast for Obama. Of course, Fox News didn’t tell their viewers that.

The best part of the complaint comes from the CNN report:

In his election complaint, Moore stated that he took a polygraph test over the sexual misconduct allegations made against him by Leigh Corfman, Beverly Nelson and Tina Johnson. Moore says that he took the polygraph test after the December 12 election, according to his affidavit, included in the complaint.

In the affidavit Moore states, “the results of the examination reflected that I did not know, nor had I ever had any sexual contact with any of these individuals.” He called the allegations “false and malicious attacks on my character.”

See, now, you learn something every day. I was not aware that you could toss out the results of an election if you could prove that the voters were misinformed. Must be in the Ten Commandments somewhere, so it escaped my notice.

Someone needs to ID Moore’s attorneys, and file a complaint with the bar association.

Hey Moore, let me put it to you in redneck terms that you might understand: Man up for once in your life, asshole.

Taking a polygraph post-election seems a bit idiotic. If Moore felt the test results would vindicate him and restore enough trust and credibility in the voter’s eyes to salvage a victory why wasn’t it done two weeks BEFORE the election?

three “national Election Integrity experts”

My guess would be Kris Kobach, Hans von Spakovsky, and Dinesh D’Souza.

Of course, there may be others, but those are the three that come to mind off the top of my head.

Good question, considering that it lives in the bowl.

The legacy of slavery, the Civil War, Reconstruction, poll taxes, segregation, lynchings and everything else associated with race and politics and civil rights has left the South a very damaged region. Similar to a child that is beaten and abused and starved and emerges permanently, irretrievably damaged despite the best mental health care possible to be provided. I’ve come to the conclusion it’s always going to be a sick, impoverished, psychologically damaged mess. It was destroyed in the crib, stunted forever. If the U.S. were a human body it would be the leg stricken with gangrene, needing amputated to save what remained. As long as we’re saddled with essentially everything south of the Mason Dixon the country is screwed.
