I have to confess I’m not shocked that a stupid person said a stupid thing. It’s been known to happen. I doubt this woman is going to kill anyone or even be rude to someone in person. But this frivolousness does work on the minds of less stable people. A couple of weeks ago a dispute between two suburbanite neighbors turned into a fatal shooting right in my county. Probably wouldn’t have happened 20 or 30 years ago. So this kind of frivolous, stupid talk does ripple out and leach into the minds of the foolish and impressionable.
