Discussion for article #238360
Oh, Murdoch, why are you kvetching? Your network sells this crap all the time!
Iâve run out of popcorn already. Are Cracker Jacks permissible?
I love the smell of Faux panic in the morning. It smells likeâŚvictory.
This is just so much fun and getting funnier every day,
By all means! I personally like dark chocolate almonds, but they can be pretty fattening after awhile â especially since the parade is basically just starting.
Chocolate covered coffee beans, perhaps? Will keep us awake to watch the show.
Shorter MurdochâŚ
âIâve invested a lot of money in proping up this party with dog whistles, please use the provided talking points like everyone elseâ
It would seem we should not be so joyous over Trumpâs immigrant talk. Well it is true he is crazy, crazy (in my oppinion) it is also true he is gaining traction with his efforts. History tells us these wackos can stir up the masses and cause great harm not only to our country but to the world. Obviously the biggest rxample is WWII. When you have constant media coverage assuring people they should be unhappy with todayâs world (particularly âthe otherâ) we are ripe for massive problems.
I can also guarantee you The Trumpster will NOT train his ire â his bane â his contempt at Murdoch like he did NBC, Serta, ESPN etc. Faux Noise, Roger Ailes, and Murdoch created this monster, or at the very least given him a platform over the last 7 years to attack then-candidate Obama, and duly elected President Obama.
Derp Fight!
Hey GOP, when you sleep with dogs you are bound to get fleas. You courted the extreme lunatic fringe, now you have to sleep with them. Go Donald !
Iâm not sureâŚlemme run that by the boys down in R & D.
Trump Wrong
âMe Tarzan, you Jane.â
âHulk Smashâ
âWerewolf; There Wolfâ
âMe love cookiesâ
16 months more of this crazyness ? It will be a downer afterwardsâŚ
Itâs Chex Party Mix Time with double mixed nuts!
What is very important about Murdochâhe wants access to the tables of power; he wants to be a kingmaker, most of all. Look at his involvement in Tony Blairâs rise and the scandals resulting from it. And how his allegiances to different parties in England come and go. His ideology du jour is simply a tool to be a player. In the US Ailes convinced him (after Murdoch rigged the FCC-limits process) that the best route, beyond tabloid trash papers, was a ânewsâ network that took the conservative POV. Ailes made it make money and gather influence. He mostly drives the ideology and strategy. He and his minions kept Trump on hand as a brash mouthpiece. The pet simply got out of control and is now a monster. Murdoch thinks/hopes his power is enough to re-cage it. MaybeâŚbut God punishes us by giving us what we ask for. They have other pets like Huckabee and Palin to answer for, too.
It will be interesting to see if Trump hits back at Murdoch. And youâre right, Fox News created this monster. As long as he trained his bile on Obama and the Dems every Monday morning on Fox & Friends, Murdoch was fine with it. But now the monster is coming after his creator.
Graham is correct about Trump. He is a wrecking ball for the GOPs future. But thatâs because of the disease that makes up the GOP base, which has shot Trump to the top of the preferred candidates amoung the GOP voters.
Trump is the symptom, not the cause. My only hope is that it kills the patient (the GOP).
I can think of one immigrant Iâd like to deport:
Rupert Murdoch.
