Discussion: MO Lawmakers Call For Resignation, Probe Amid Guv's Blackmail Allegations

Well at least republicans have moved on from child molestation to simple blackmail and infidelity.

At this rate in 100 years children and women may be safe around the average GOPervert.

See? Progress.

Of course you do have to wonder if he picked up his particular tastes while processing female prisoners in Iraq.

Time for the gov to “spend time with the family”. Question is … which family.

No- he broke up this woman’s marriage and then blackmailed her into further acts. There is no ‘other’ family here.

The only reason we know about this is because the husband came forward.

The solomonic Roberts Supreme Court has already declared bribery with suitcases of money, Rolexes, luxury cars etc. completely legal if done by white christian conservative Republican governor. It is a time to for the Supreme Court declare blackmail legal as well. Money is free speech and these are victimless crimes that christian conservatives should be allowed to commit with impunity.

Well, this is a lot of fun.

The Greitens’ were my neighbor until he and his wife sold their house earlier this year after taking office. Too many bad memories?

Republicans control both MO Houses. Greitens has worked very hard to piss off GOP leadership in both chambers going so far as to tweet out the GOP Speaker’s personal cell phone number following a dispute.

MO AG Josh Hawley is challenging Claire McCaskill for her Senate seat in what is likely the tightest Senate race in the country. Hawley must be loving this, and he certainly deserves everything he gets.

I think Greitens has spent more time in DC than he has at home and there are a number of photos of him with Trump. Birds of a feather?

I will certainly enjoy watching this play out.

The sad thing is some of the state senators mentioned in the article represent what used to be blue districts.

No doubt Trump has been thanking Greitens for his service servicing married hair stylists.

What’s the over/under on how many more women come forward with similar stories?

On a personal note- can another adult man please instruct this person in how a gentleman wears cuff-links. This is just ridiculous and embarrassing.

Hmmm…

Salacious acts?

Compromising pictures?

The epic takedown of a chief-executive, which fellow Republican lawmakers are powerless to cover up?

This all seems vaguely familiar, but I just can’t place it…

“Infidelity is unfortunate, but it is not illegal,” Ellebracht said, according to the report.
Unless you are Bill Clinton

Missouri Gov. Eric “Abu Ghraib” Greitens, he’s tough on crime … and women.

Sounds like another case of Republicans getting into worse trouble by not being honest. If Greitens just wanted to have kinky sex with his wife, this wouldn’t be an issue at all; my guess is he was too ashamed to raise the topic with her, so he did it with someone who meant nothing to him.

Has someone forwarded this story to Aunt Lindsey yet?

State Rep. Bryan Spencer (R) said it was “too early” and “we don’t know the facts.”

“All we hear is what’s in the news,” Spencer told the Kansas City Star. “In today’s society we can destroy a people with just accusations.”

A Republican specialty! They do this all the time.

I’ve never worn cufflinks in my adult life, so what’s he doing wrong?
