Discussion for article #232876
Once again, a clueless âI live in a BUBBLEâ fool makes statements that are patently false.
Out-of-wedlock pregnancies in the US are at a rate lower than in the 1950âs (you, know, when âFather Knows Bestâ, the documentary of life in the âTea-Bagger Idea of Americaâ showed us a housewife wearing pearls and an evening dress while vacuuming the floors.)
Go away you fool.
Does this idiot not even realize that the very thing she says should be against the law IS against the law?
The headline should read âKnow Nothing Governor Turns Reality Inside Out and Makes It Stand On Itâs Headâ
Only a Republican could be so dumb and misinformed at the time.
It is impossible to argue with ignorance this profound.
Cuckoo, cuckoo, cuckoo!
Donât you mean republi-tard?
But - Freedom? Liberty? You know all of those Republican things. Donât women get them too?
I was awarded a Silver Star the seventh time I knocked up my girlfirend.
Jesus Effing Christ on a pogo stick!
Do these cretins never even attempt to think before they spout this insane bullshit?
One can only hope that Missourians are too smart to elect this whining brainless bimbo.
And the thing is sheâs a lawyer. Itâs spooky how willing these people are to make arguments they could see through themselves in a moment, arguments they know are convoluted, based on all kinds of false premises, based on emotion and prejudice, not evidence. And yet they make the arguments anyway. Itâs like theyâre possessed.
âAnd I am here to say that their culture of permissiveness towards sexual activity is the real war on women.â
Republicans still cannot make the distinction between permitting something and mandating something.
Itâs the basic concept behind that âfreedomâ theyâre always going on about, yet itâs clear that they donât understand it at all.
Probably a Liberty gradâmy poodle could get a law degree from that diploma mill.
I stand corrected. Iâm just so tired of the whole âlib-tardâ memeâI try to never go full retard. I take the long way around it.
Catholic University of America. Sheâs actually a high-end lawyer when sheâs not babbling derp. I think one thing we often forget around here when we yell about how stupid and ignorant people are is that itâs dismayingly easy for smart, educated, knowledgeable people to passionately believe stupid and ignorant things.
âSo, the liberals want to talk about conservatives waging a war on women. But, think about what they talk about. When their chief criticism of conservatives, the chief criticism is that we stand up for the sanctity of life. That because we are pro-life we are somehow against women,â Hanaway said, according to audio highlighted by Salon. âAnd I am here to say that their culture of permissiveness towards sexual activity is the real war on women.â
[emphasis mine]
Could it be any clearer that âsanctity of lifeâ is about sexual âpermissivenessâ, not concern for the unborn?
âAnd I am here to say that their culture of permissiveness towards sexual activity is the real war on women.â
When I hear idiotic rhetoric like this from conservative women, I canât help but think this is a woman who got married far earlier than she wanted, probably has regrets, probably wishes sheâd gotten to sow some oats, and now wants to prevent other women from enjoying the freedom she denied herself. These hateful ninnies want to keep other women from having consequence-free sex, yet they never have a damn thing to say about men screwing everything that moves. The only reason for it that makes any sense is that theyâre simply jealous.
ââ"""âWhen their chief criticism of conservatives, the chief criticism is that we stand up for the sanctity of life.â"""
Sheâs an amateur and needs to work on her âdodgeâ. What Liberal has criticized that? None. We are cool with life. What we have criticized is paying that living person poorly for not having a Y chromosome. We have bitched a bit about dismissing sexual assault against that living person as well as punishing her because God made her the one that would need time off from work in order to create more âsanctity of lifeâ. We are a bit pissed that women are under-represented in government office and in higher positions in business and academia.
But we have no bitch with the âsanctity of lifeâ and donât think the GOPâers care about near as much as they claim to.

Good catch----that slipped right by me, largely because I was slack-jawed at the utter stupidity of her remarks.
But that really is the core of the issue for the far right.
Thatâs also why they shame rape victimsâthe were all âasking for itâ by the way they dressed or by the way they acted or because they had a cocktail or three.
