Let’s see: the pro-“life” conservatives want to protect those fetuses but want to throw in the slammer for 20 years someone who offers a bottle of water to a thirsty (brown) man. Yeah, I guess that’s consistent…

“Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition …There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.” – Frank Wilhoit

Eight for acquittal; four for guilty (Trumpers?).

Whoever makes Frank Wilhoit’s glasses - I want a pair!!!

Ancient Greeks would be appalled at the way republicans have criminalized hospitality, which was a sacred obligation.

I barely know about Bible stories, but weren’t people who refused to help strangers cursed in that sodomy story?

Ancient Greeks hell - every living Muslim is appalled because hospitality is a religious obligation for them too.

Wasn’t this trial held in Tucson? If so, what has been the community’s reaction to both the trial and the hung jury?

A rather spot-on breakdown of the number of deplorables in the good ole’ U.S. of A.

In TrumpWorld you can go to jail for twenty years for feeding two migrants? WTHolyF??? These aholes are out of control.

Oh wow! I had no idea.

Perhaps that helps explain why every Muslim I’ve ever worked with has been unfailingly polite and kind.

This is so outrageous I can’t even.

Not one of these fucking christians has apparently read the New Testament.

Jews and Christians as well.

Now, can we dispense with the ‘every living (insert religion)’ because most of them use their ‘faith’ as it suit them.

IT is more of a cultural obligation for Muslims as a rule. Certainly in the Middle East. They are known for it.

I’m glad at least one juror had one, but mad as hell that justice had to trickle down to the jurors’ consciences before the possibility of doing the right thing even emerged. The prosecutor should be fired immediately.

Matthew, Chapter 25. Pretty damn clear on the subject.

"Then he will say to those on his left, Depart from me, you who are cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.** **For I was hungry and you gave me nothing to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me nothing to drink, I was a stranger and you did not invite me in, I needed clothes and you did not clothe me, I was sick and in prison and you did not look after me.'** **"They also will answer,Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or needing clothes or sick or in prison, and did not help you?’ "He will reply, `I tell you the truth, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.'
"Then they will go away to eternal punishment, but the righteous to eternal life."

Of all the crimes committed by this administration, those committed against the people seeking asylum at our southern border are the worst. They kidnapped toddlers with no intention of ever reuniting them with their parents! What kind of monster does that? After that, dumping drinking water to keep if from saving lives is no big deal.
JFC, these people are disgusting. And not just the head honchos… The guy who’s dumping water in the desert deserves some Karma, too. Ask the Nazi’s how “just doing my job” worked in their defense. Assholes!
When the adults regain control we have some housecleaning to do.

As is most of the civilized world.

But then, Trump’s U.S. no longer pretends to be civilized.
