Discussion: Missouri Now A Half-Step Away From Having No Abortion Providers At All

Unbelievable. How is that the God-botherers have so much political power in this country? I know of no other instance where a group of people has decided to inject themselves into other people’s medical decisions. Truly, as another poster noted, “The Christian Wrong.”

…and here Missouri was TRYING to court IBM and other tech industries to their state. Think again gooners…women are not gonna want to step foot in your ‘throw back’ states.

I know of no other instance where a group of people has decided to inject themselves into other people’s lady parts…FIFY.

Truly repulsive – and an indictment of their vaunted “morality.”

Not to mention what passes for our education system.

Rachel has done several reports on this, you guys are really behind. Shame that no one aside from Rachel has given this story the attention it deserves

She about the only one who could suffer under state sanctioned assault…the men would just ‘feel bad’ for you…

Such a brilliant idea to make it where the folks that can least afford decent health care, have and raise more kids will be the least able to do anything about it. Sure the rich won’t have to pay for health care but instead dealing with even more people that can’t afford much.

True that. I remember the night she first teased it saying they had an exclusive story that we would probably soon be hearing a lot about.

Then, other than her, nothing.

TPM seems to have a rather narrow scope sometimes, which I assume is due to low staff numbers.

But you can help them by posting links to articles that your’e interested in because they will usually put up an article about it a little bit later! Not that my comment necessarily was what prompted them but could be who knows, and if nothing else you can see other stuff from peoples comments.ebne if it doesn’t get an article. Like the Maddow store that I learned of by your post. It’s all good.

My comment about about 30 minutes before …

…a TPM article

I’ve been hearing about the case on NPR for a while now.

Misogynistic Missouri, the Show-Me State, needs a new, more accurately befitting nickname.

We’ll have a template for eliminating guns while espousing the right to have them. Sellers will be required to meet ever-constrictive regulations.

“doctors submit to questioning”

Dead giveaway of totalitarian dictatorship.

The requirement for an unnecessary pelvic exam three days before the procedure is, as Maddow reported the doctors saying, state-sponsored sexual assault. MEN HAVE NO IDEA HOW INVASIVE AND DEHUMANIZING PELVIC EXAMS ARE.

Time for mandatory prostate exams.

This happened because the Democratic party abandoned Missouri. It is time for us to ask when the Democratic party is going to adopt a 50 state strategy.

The exam in question requires a doctor to stick his fingers deep into a woman and, well I do not have the stomach to continue. As a father to daughters, a husband to a wife, a brother to sisters and even as a son, I have a very good idea how evasive and dehumanizing are these unnecessary exams and that some doctors are even in jail for performing these unnecessarily. These exams should not be called exams but what they are, dehumanizing state ordered sexual assaults intended to demean, humiliate and intimidate woman.
