This extended Attorney General audition is exhausting.

Missouri legislature even appealed to President Trump

Sure, turning to a psycho sexual deviate with experience on the subject will boost his chances of survival. lol.
Trump probably considers him an amature and can’t wait to hear about the gritty details first hand…

Sheesh. A routine kidnapping here, an easily mistaken felony there, and the legislators are going to need some sensitivity training on white guy privilege . Or a tweet. Or a pardon or two.

This Duke of the Week might be the most reviled Duke Blue Devil since Richard Nixon, or even Christian Laettner.

Can a golden Duke Award be given more than once?

OT. Can someone explain how to comment on Livewire articles? I can’t even view any comments that might have been made. Frustrating.

When you are in comments for one item - go to the upper right hand - underneath the title Discussion: (name of story) there is a little brown box + TPM Article Topics. Click that and it will bring you to the recent articles and comment sections for those articles. Click the article of interest and you will go right to the comments section.

“Missouri Gov. Eric Greitens Is Our Duke Of The Week.”

A big win for Eric, against the stiffest of competition. Well done, sir!

If you win it three times, you are retired and go into the Golden Duke Hall of Fame!

Thank you, I did not know that. Just goes to show you are never to old to learn. ha ha ha. Thank you for taking the time to explain it.

Missouri GOP strategists told Allegra Kirkland this week that they worry the governor’s meteoric downfall could still be on voters’ minds in November — especially if Greitens refuses to leave office.

This totally understates the glee Senator McCaskill is feeling at the prospect of holding up not just one cluess R for ridicule as she did with Todd Akin, but two, Greitens and Hawley current MO AG who’s slow walking his prosecution of the governor.

I just do the same, that others here have done for me. I imagine before you know it, you will do the same for another poster.

It’s like a pay it forward thing, if you know something, teach it.

I hope that no matter whether he resigns, is impeached or stays in office that the felony charges go forward. This guy is the definition of toxic masculinity and unbridled ambition.

Hawley stands too lose on two ends. Those disgusted by long slow walking (though now speeding up) action towards Grietens, and also the die-hards who think no GOP should ever act against a sitting GOP (cuz - make the libruls cry!) For example, early this past week Mo GOP office holders were given warnings that Mo GOP donors would withhold donations for anyone criticizing the Governor.

For McCaskill - it’s all good.

Maybe even a Mulligan.

Duke of the Week is awesome! With the pace that this Administrations runs at, can Duke of the Day or Hour be far behind?

Golden Duke?
I’ve never heard it called that before…
Though he certainly is.

I must say Claire McCaskill does seem to live a charmed life so bravo darling!
Conversely you might also think Neanderthal GOP politicos still seem to survive and thrive at the state level in the “Show Me” state.

I could go either way.

Anyone interested in Hawley’s tendencies should google this trio of terms: Greitens Hawley Humphreys Dave Humphreys is the supremo of a company in SW MO that needed, and received, a favor from these two young whiz kids. Interesting, short read.
