Well they got their abortion restricting through. And I bet that since they thought that they screw the Missouri voters over even more have not even started the processes to change the way districts are drawn. So in the end we’ll be stuck with the old way until they approve away forward to implement Clean Missouri’s provisions.
The GOP is against ‘clean’ redistricting.
I’m shocked, SHOCKED, I tell you!
Republicans must spend all day and night worrying that democrats are going to take their stuff.
Don’t forget, this is the zombie GOP, always arising from the dead…
Restricting the Constitutional rights (of people of color and Democrats) to vote is hard - all those procedural details to deal with. But, its damned important and we’ll keep trying.
If the Democratic party existed at all in Missouri it could ram this down the throats of the GOP legislators trying hard to protect their gerrymandered districts. It doesn’t so ultimately the GOP machine will win and the will of Missouri voters will be thwarted once again.
Our esteemed party is working too hard to protect blue dogs who inherited their seats from their fathers in deep blue districts and/or incumbents who have deep billionaire ties from facing primary challenges from actual democrats to make any effort to change the red/blue map.
The elected Democrats are acting just like the Republicans who were displaced by the Republican base over the last 20 years. Instead of embracing reform elected Washington Democrats are standing in the way.
Missouri is a destination wedding spot — for 15-year-old brides

Well that and the fact that they would be limited to $0 from lobbyists, that one was going hurt so bad.
This is Glenn Close coming out of that bathtub.
Two of those Republicans were complete no-shows for the committee meeting, the Kansas City Star reported, while a third Republican believed incorrectly that he could vote by proxy,
Lemme get this straight - their effort to suppress voting failed because they fucked up voting procedure?
I also managed to get a great deal on a pair of speakers today, so this is turning out to be a pretty good day.
They lost their vote because a doofus was live-streaming with the governor? F-ing Millennials.
Calling their fathers rapists is kinda harsh, isn’t it?
Republicans earlier this week claimed the measure was not dead yet. But in the days since, it appears that they instead put their full attention on passing an anti-abortion bill that bans the procedure after eight weeks into the pregnancy.
The first recorded instance of hoes before bros…
Clean Missouri sets a $5 limit. They put the $0 as first part of bill and planned to market as nothing more to see in there…
I wonder which state’s voters hate their legislature more? MO has to be in the top 5 for sure.
