Well said. Donā€™t back down.

I wonder why Thomas even bothers to show up. Just give Big Tony two votes.

No doubt! Heā€™s just calling it like 90% of black folk see it.

How refreshing. Could we get this guy to take over at MSNBC?

Yes, it a racially charged term, and itā€™s not even right in the way itā€™s used. At the end of Uncle Tomā€™s Cabin, Tom let himself be beaten to death rather than reveal the location of an escaped slave.

Has that nimrod from MSNBC apologized for Thompson being on the air yet?

Require that Clarence Thomas ā€œbehave in manner in accordance with his raceā€ is racism. He has the right to be a conservative.

Clearly he has the right to be whatever he chooses. Choosing to side against 99% of the people is not an enviable position.

He should apologize by saying, ā€œIā€™m sorry by my poor choice of words. I meant to say Justice Thomas is a House Negro, not an Uncle Tom.ā€

Thomas is one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, embarrassment to the SCOTUS in its history. He is like some mute puppet, seemingly or actually uninterested in what is being presented in the court, several times nodding off during the proceedings, and looking to Scalia to tell him what he should think and do. As a matter of fact, heā€™s little more than Scaliaā€™s lapdog. So, calling him an Uncle Tom is an understatement and actually an insult to Harriet Beecher Stoweā€™s characterā€¦who was a man she portrayed as a Christlike figure who is ultimately martyred.
He, along with GOP tokens like Herman999Cain, are much more like Samuel L. Jacksonā€™s character Stephen in Djangoā€¦cruel and condescending oh-so-comfortable playing their role as window dressing for their masters.:

The Supreme is not above criticism. Justice Thomas is an ignorant jurist. I am not black so Iā€™ll leave the ā€œTomā€ stuff to others better qualified. Scalia is equally ignorant and since I since I am white I will say he is a horsesā€™ ass.

If it walks like Uncle Tom and talks like a Uncle Tom ā€“ itā€™s clearly not a duck, so maybe itā€™s an ā€˜Uncle Tomā€™ā€¦

To all who are truthful with themselves itā€™s true.

When Clarence Thomas looks in the mirror, he sees Antonin Scalia not a Black mediocre jurist, one of the in US court history.

I wouldnā€™t doubt that when Thomas and Scalia are alone Thomas addressed him with a Yessa boss, Nosa boss.

Common sense & honest truth, well done, Sir!

What other Democratic president has there been when McConnell was Senate leader? I guess weā€™re looking for a quote from him saying the same thing about Clinton, which he may have.

The GOP got clocked in 2008 and with the rise of the Tea Party, scorched earth politics were more palatable than in say 1992. Plus, Clinton carried KY.
