Voting while Black is not looked upon favorable by the GOP and will not be tolerated in the GOP primary.

I own a Kangol cap-- I sometimes wear it backwards when I golf. I learned the Electric Slide at a wedding reception in '78 and did it twice without hurting anyone.

Just so long as an Allen West or Ben Carson pops up from time to time, the neoconfederates won’t ever lose faith in the righteousness of their cause.

An African-American voting for a Republican is like a chicken voting for Colonel Sanders.

“…the Mississippi runoff could wind up becoming to GOP prospects among African-Americans what the disastrous handling of immigration reform legislation has become to GOP prospects among Latinos”

The GOP gave up on any serious prospects with African Americans decades ago. 6% of the vote? No point in even trying.

Republicans continue to use the 47 per cent rule when talking about African-Americans and why they vote Democratic - just to get the free stuff from “Uncle Sugar.” But it’s perfectly okay to elect Republican legislators who ensure that the rich get richer by tampering with tax laws, directing contracts and Federal monies towards the interests of the rich class, etc. One side is comprised of leaches, and the other by patriots.

I’m simply stupefied by how obtuse the GOP is. They know they cannot win any general election without some minority voters, but instead of courting them, they have wracked their pea brains finding ways to alienate them.

No wonder they have such inept administrations when they have won. They haven’t a clue about how to govern.

oh they know how to govern it just that they govern for the 1% the rest of us are on our own…hope ya got a sturdy pair of bootstraps cause that all ya need when it comes to the GOP

Perfect, bloody perfect. While the GOP and Tea Party candidate McDaniel fight it out the African American voters in Mississippi have chosen their victim for an embarrassing smack-down in the national election.

They have done what Sen McCaskill did in Missouri and will vote for Childers when push comes to shove.

These douche canoes may be able to suppress the young, poor, and nonwhite vote for a couple more election cycles. They may even pull a win out this time.

But it can’t last forever. Sheer numbers will overwhelm the Tide of Tea.

Whether McDaniel makes it to the Senate will depend on how big of a mess he makes trying to get there. The full body of the Senate determines who is or is not seated. I think I’m correct…if not please set me straight.
