Plus, the blacks are always playing the race card.

The real problem is this: idiots being elected (and re-elected) to state government. It’s even worse on the state level than the federal level… and we see how bad it is on the federal level each day.

So Mississsippi shouldn’t get a dime for school funding cause:

  1. I had a long wait in the emergency ward cause of the ni(CLANG!)
  2. Welfare for the ni(CLANG!) doesn’t work.
  3. People are electing school superintedents who don’t know what they’re doing.
  4. Benghazi.
  5. The president is a ni(CLANG!).

I remember back in 1976-77 when Jimmy Carter had been elected and people talked about a “New South”.

Well it seems that everything that is new is old again.

Welcome to the Old South where it’s always 1947.

So now food stamps = education funding in the mind of a Mississippi State Rep.?
Really?

I’m impressed that we continue to survive as a species. And it’s getting harder and harder to hold out hope for the future.

Me too…

All I could think of was “Those folks must have never been two states over.”

“The Mississippi education department is looking to hire additional literacy coaches for schools…” They need to hire additional literacy coaches for their elected officials.

Let’s see…Mississippi has one of the worst educational systems in the US. It has next to no economy because no one wants to move businesses there because it has one of the worst educational systems in the US. Mississippi has next to no tax revenue because it has next to no economy thanks to businesses not wanting to move to the state because it has one of the worst educational systems in the country. Mississippi is heavily reliant on federal money (State and Business Welfare) because they have next to no tax revenue because they have next to no economy because businesses don’t want to move to the state because it has one of the worst educational systems in the country.

It’s time we cut off the spigot of federal dollars going to Mississippi and tell them to pay their own way just the way this guy wants to do with Blacks.

Y’know, I really am attached to the idea of the United States. These people make it really hard to not say “Fk you, make your own shitty little third-world dump.”

fargo, it could be any state. Here in AZ our state gov’t has slashed community college funding by 50%, the state University system by 20 million + and slashed K-12 funding all so that they can fund… wait for it…
Prisons. Our state courts have said the state owes K-12 education 380 million dollars back the state stole during the recession. Our new governor is set on not paying that money. There’s a bill wending its way thru the state gov’t right now that would effectively kill the Tucson Unified School District because they are owed money to fulfill state mandated desegregation orders. It’s Arizona but it sounds like Mississippi to me.

Because of the lack of educated state representatives I doubt the Mississippi Legislature would understand you logic.

I’m usually surprised when people get my logic.

We need a few good PACs to be taking detailed notes and videotapes. In just the last two weeks, there is more than enough material to create some pretty awesome 60-sec. spots on why it is our nation’s best interest to NOT vote Republican until the party clears out all the offensive detritus. Boehner; Jeb Bush; AL Supreme Court Justice Moore (multiple contributions); Scott Walker; Christie; the lady who danced on the grave of the dead American prisoner of ISIL; vaccine boy Rand Paul; etc. Please, MoveOn.org and others like you. I will make double donations if you do.
