It’s been a while, days at least, since we’ve heard anyone say he or she had no intention of causing offense, or was injudicious in his or her word choice, or, my personal favorite, that where he or she came from “Muslim goat humper” merely meant “ignorant person” and carried not a whiff of racism, why, heaven forfend how could you think such a thing.
