Yeah. Because thatā€™s what objecting to a symbol for slaveholding traitors is. ā€˜Political connectedness.ā€™

Next up in Nielsenā€™s brave war against PC: heā€™ll start showing up wearing an SS uniform and carrying a Nazi flag. ā€œIt has nothing to do with the Holocaust, or with invading the rest of Europe. Iā€™m just sick of the PC.ā€

Nielson said that Hartland Fire Chief Trent Wangen suspended him while the department conducts an investigation.

Whatā€™s there to investigate? The guy says he did it because he wanted to make a political statement about PC cultureā€¦on a taxpayer funded public utility firetruck. Oh, the irony. Iā€™m sure thatā€™s completely lost on him.

He probably just got confused by the postal abbreviation. He thought that Minnesota was MS. I always have trouble with those ā€œMā€ states, too.

He can proudly wave that flag on the unemployment line. lol.

And by suspended, we mean ā€œby his unmentionablesā€ and ā€œfrom a flag poleā€ā€¦

These are the jokes peopleā€¦Iā€™ll be here foreverā€¦

More lucrative to ā€˜form a committeeā€™ to explore running for pResident.

The first reason to discount his explanation: He actually possessed a confederate flag that was a s big as the U.S. flag flying off the back of the firetruck. I am guessing that he did not purchase that flag within the last month.

He flies the Confederate flag and celebrates the THIRD of July. And he calls himself an American?

And to think that the Battle of Gettysburg took place in the first few days of July, 1863, and the state of Minnesota contributed many men to the Union army.

" ā€˜It was my decision and I didnā€™t think it was going to be a big deal, but boy was I wrong," he told the Associated Pressā€™."

Iā€™m guessing this guy is wrong about a lot of things. Hey, maybe he is one of the maybe three in the whole nation ā€œsouthern heritageā€ adherents who regularly refers to African-Americans by the n-word, but thinks this is not racist or offensive.

Hailing from Minnesota, I have to wonder if it occurred to this moron that during the Civil War, Minnesotan soldiers fought and died against what that flag stood for. And yet he flies it on the Fourth of July during a parade? Clueless much?

I saw one big confederate flag on a classic car this weekend. It was parading up and down mainstreet with hundreds of other old cars.

2584 Minnesotans died fighting the traitors who marched under that flagā€¦1.5% of the total 1860 population of the state. The equivalent number of deaths today would be around 87,000 Minnnesota citizens. PC my ass.

ā€œPC culture?ā€ I think most Americansā€“well, Northerners, anyhowā€“are quite sincere in their view that secession from the US should not be celebrated on the very day that marks the birth of the US. Doesnā€™t ā€œPCā€ indicate that the views being expressed are insincere, but voiced only to go along with the crowd?
