Discussion: Minneapolis Cop Charged With Murder, Manslaughter In Australian's Death

That sounds about right. A horrible tragedy for her, her family, and their friends. I also think it is horrible for the officer’s involved, as I am sure they did not intend to kill an innocent person. I am glad justice has a chance of being met in this case. I am sure it will be settled for a charge less than murder (reckless manslaughter etc).

And this took 8 months because…?.

Requiring them to turn on the cameras isn’t going to get it done unless they are punished for not doing so. The camera is an eye on the Cop. They don’t like that.

And now we move to the phase where the County Attorney throws the case and the officer is acquitted. Call me jaded, but I’ve seen this movie before in Hennepin County…

Glad the wheels of justice are turning. I wonder what it could be about this cop that resulted in charges while most skate after an internal review. Hmmm, can’t quite put my finger on it…

Gee, me neither.

Oh, wait. The victim was white, and the cop is black.

Note to self: if you ever experience police violence, promptly change yourself into an Australian woman in order to seek justice.

Although it was absolutely the right to do, you kinda get the feeling that this is happening because the victim was white and the cop was black, and muslimy to boot.

If it had been a black woman, we will be hearing: “she was no angel!”.

You haven’t seen this movie with a white victim and Muslim officer though…
