Discussion: Milwaukee Sheriff: 'Black Lives Matter Will Join Forces With ISIS'

Discussion for article #242266

Shaun King, an activist with Black Lives Matter, said Clarke is like “a fictional TV villain” for the remarks, which he called “complete and utter buffoonery” in a column for the New York Daily News.

Sorry, Shaun, the word you’re looking for is “coonery”.

I’d say LOL but there are people out there dull-witted enough to believe it.

Meanwhile mainstream Republicans (ie Republicans who can read) walk around scratching their ass and wondering how their base got so nuts.

Prior to serving as Sheriff, Clarke had a circus career where he billed himself as the world’s first and only helmetless human cannonball.

Of all the sad things known to man,
There´s not too much sadder than
The fears of a clown-
Fox token Sheriff Brown.

With apologies to Smokey Robinson.

And BTW, it’s “You heard it here first”, not “You heard it first here.”

Sheesh,. how does this guy remember how to breathe?

I would hope, somewhere, there is a crafty attorney that can make the case that equating BLM with ISIS is an invite for vigilante action against the Black movement. That as soon as someone is hurt but a gun nut that listened to this fucking boot licker…that an argument can be made for reckless irresponsibility by the Sheriff.

Or to borrow from Spike Lee, coonery and buffoonery.

You would think that the realization that they helped create the Tea Party monstrosity that is destroying what’s left of the Republican party and possibly soon thereafter our nation, that FOX would start to alter it’s approach to “creating and feeding” the conservative base moving forward.

It seems clear that when you pander to the lowest forms of vitriolic, xenophobic, conspiracy theorists that this empowers not only a base that heads to the polls come election time but also the candidates that step forward to put their names on those ballots. Is it possible that FOX really wants to bring our nation down? How can they possibly benefit from that? It just isn’t making any sense to me.

Maybe conservatives have collectively (if not in concert) come to the realization that none of their grand plans or ideas has ever panned out or resulted in anything other than disaster, debt and a gross redistribution of wealth to the very top of the economic food chain, and so rather than admit defeat they simply want to scuttle the ship of state.

Clarke accused President Obama of “playing the race game” and said “there is no police brutality in America. We ended that back in the '60s.”

Eric Garner, Michael Brown, Freddie Gray, and Walter Scott did not return calls for comment.

The sheriff has a long history of outlandish remarks,

Whew!

For a moment there from the look of his uniform I thought this wingnut was a military officer.

Good to know he’s just a local Sharif!

Sheriff Clarke: First, learn to spell, or at least use the appropriate words.

“there is no police brutality in America. We ended that back in the '60s.”

Then get your head out of your ass and start watching the real world.

No, he’s right. Black Lives Matter is going to join forces with ISIS and Planned Parenthood to bring down the republic, take our guns and force all women to have monthly abortions.

It’s so obvious I can’t believe we all didn’t see it coming.
