Sounds like good reasons to gut some more environmental regulations, disparage climate scientists and deny scientific facts, and ignore that there are mounting, devastating problems and still smart things that can be done to prevent them from getting worse (although time’s running out).

I’m just outside of Raleigh and on some days I can see the steam from the cooling tower rising up from Sharon Harris Nuke plant that’s like 20-30 miles south. They have evacuation route signs along US 1 and warning horn at various places around the area too. I’ve always told my wife if the alarms sound I’m driving toward the plant and getting it over quickly.
Yeah, I totally forgot about the hog lots. It’s going to be a nasty mess.
