This thread reminds me that the first time I heard of a “militia” was in NJ of all places and decades ago. .
Lots of rural areas in NJ with the same caliber rednecks as found anywhere. I had recently been separated from the Army and so found it comical that civilians would play soldier even with some who had to know that they would be helpless against, say, the 82nd Airborne.
None of which means these idiots can’t be very dangerous as we’ve seen.
