Hah. That’s snark, right? Now watch the Wall Streeters all have their hair-on-fire moment over gas prices at the pump. The CoC will insist the lackeys in the press get right on that. Notice with all the commentary about the regional players that surround Iraq, the only country that gets left out of the mix routinely and given a pass is Saudi Arabia and the House of Saud. Talk about conflicting loyalties and a messy relationship that dare not be spoken over this entire mess in Iraq.

Well, if this attack on the refinery proves one thing…it’s that America’s transition to clean energy needs to come sooner rather than later. Got that. We need better alternatives to Middle Eastern conflicts that will go on in perpetuity, and which doesn’t leave a huge carbon footprint to leave to our children. We have the technology. We just need to get the plutocrats for dirty energy out of the way. That’s my response about this refinery and all the other refineries around the world for that matter.
