When Duggar molested his 5 year old sister, was it considered a legitimate rape or illegitimate rape? I figure since she’s 5, her body automatically can shut that whole thing down. So I’m not sure if that constitutes an illegitimate rape.
Can someone provide me a link to the RNC platform so that I can find the out for sure?

When a reporter on Tuesday asked Huckabee whether the Duggars would be joining him on the campaign trail, former governor responded “I don’t know, it’ll be up to them. Ask them, I don’t know,”
So if Huckabee gives a major speech to a large group and the Duggars want to hobnob with the crowd and stand beside him on the stage for photos afterwards he's saying it's OK? Huckabee is OK with the Duggars being as public as they want in supporting him and he will openly acknowledge and welcome that support? It's totally up to the Duggars? If Huckabee's campaign advisors counsel against it does Huckabee respond, "Sorry guys, it's not your call, it's up to the Duggars."?

Somebody please ask Huckster whether he considers himself a mandatory reporter, and how many are serving on his campaign staff?

Yep, totally passive aggressive. I’m guessing behind the scenes, he’s asked his good friends to not do much in the way of showing their support, perhaps only do it … passively. If they do end up showing a rousing amount of support, etc., and §Huckabee is okay with it, then that’ll just indicate he realizes he’s dead in the water and he might as well take the opportunity to grift off those who support duggaring your younger sisters.

My understanding of Arkansas’s laws with regards to mandatory reporting is church officials are bound by law to report incidents like these to the proper law enforcement agencies … that might be why even the Duggars’ church folks say they were told (at the time) there was only one incident, no repeat offenses.
Seriously, there are many questions that are far from answered. I don’t know the statute of limitations on the laws that relate to those mandated to report.

I’m not sure which of Huckabee’s traits is most contemptible: the moral hypocrisy, the snarling contempt for gay and transgender people, the holier-than-thou sanctimony? There’s so much to chose from.

Never heard or saw that expression before, but it fits the Huckster and his situation exactly.
I doubt the Huckster will do as well in the Iowa caucuses as he did last time he was a candidate. Iowans aren’t too keen on apologists for whining preaching parents of disfunctional families.
For Huckabee, the Duggars will be the gift that keeps on giving…
