but in the spirit of taxonomists everywhere, I’m going to take issue with your classification. While the specimen is clearly hominid, I don’t believe it rises to the levels required for classification in the genus Homo. Rather, I believe we have the type specimen for novel hominid of the northern hemisphere, and I propose the genus Arctoavaropithecus for the specimen. The species then is infiniticorruptibilis.
(I object to the genus Homo mostly because I don’t want to be classified in the same genus with that SOB. Being in the same phylum is bad enough.)

Pair this with Rubio’s [paraphrasing]: they give me money because of my positions, not because they influence my positions. What amazes me is the frequency and the casualness with which Republicans plainly state such methods of corruption, erasing any plausible deniability. Or, worse, they don’t recognize it as corruption.
Mick Mulvaney is not an economist, so most of what he says about economics should be discounted on its face. US economic growth is slowing, although consensus is still around 2.7% for 2018, down slightly from the 2.8% start of the month. The crazy high growth promised by the GOP ain’t happening, it was just an act to sell giving $2 trillion to a narrow group of people. For that, he should at least be upgraded to Duke of the Month status.
