So Republicans are going back to find another way to exempt white people from the work requirements? I have an easier solution for them: drop the work requirements altogether.
Itâll be a coal day in hell before you post another clinker like thatâŚ
Apparently, it ainât over 'till the fat white lady in the boondocks sings. This legislator is just putting it on hold until the lame duck session and then buckle your seats. Thatâs when the Michigan legislature has done its most cruel and partisan business on an unsuspecting public. I suspect this hasnât died a complete death yet as it should. Democrats running for office need to make this a big issue as Obamacare through Medicaid expansion has provided lots of help to over 650,000 in our state.
So, once again Republicans propose an extreme piece of legislation, they get hammered for it, dial it back just a bit, and everyone declares âvictory!â and pretends itâs somehow moderate - and thus the window moves rightward, yet again.
Fewer required hours are still required hours.
OT â Hereâs another thing that will make you wanna scream âWTF is wrong with these people?â
These Pukes are just evil. No other way to put it.
Hey, soot yourself.
I am concerned about the other states that supposedly have the same racially biased legislation under consideration. Could this be an ALEC thing? Or is it just a Republican race to the bottom among the sâhole states?
Also, I love the idea of coal-powered smartphones, but wonât they emit toxic gases if used indoors? Ah, well, I remember the promise, some decades ago, of cars being powered by small nuclear reactors. Why didnât they follow up on that?
some people âtend to view everything in the world through the filter of racism.â
Must be in response to racist scumbags making their racism obvious. Cause, meet effect.
Of course, these moves will induce willfully stupid GOP voters to think everything is okay, whatâs the problem, since theyâre being exempted. So they keep voting in these assholes.
Now it will just screw over everyone the same. The Republican Party marches onwards to equality!
âtend to view everything in the world through the filter of racism.â The revisions, he insisted, have ânothing to do with these ridiculous claims.â
In other words âPay no attention to the man behind the curtainâ Heâs just upset because he got caught. That wonât stop him from trying in the future. Relentless and brainless, reminds me of windshield wipers.
Ugh.
Shirkey defended the basic structure of the plan, but admitted to the AP that âtracking the unemployment rate in all 83 counties on an ongoing basis every month would have become an administrative nightmare.â
Ah, so the racism would be perfectly fine if it werenât so dang hard to maintain!
Because the amount of money you claim they are shielding would surely pay the for the cost of health insurance and still leave enough to live on. You have stats on that?
