Its competitive. Obama won it by 12 points in '08 and 1 point in '12. Bush won it by 1 point in '04. Gore won it by 1 point in '00.
Heck won it by 8 points in '12 when he took the seat, and then crushed it in '14 by 24 points. But historically, its switched back and forth from republican to Democrat, usually by fairly close margins.
