“And a pretty good rule of thumb, by the way – if you’re suing nuns, you’ve done something really wrong.”

And another pretty good rule of thumb, by the way – if you don’t know the difference between a plaintiff and a defendant, then you shouldn’t be making laws, let alone seeking to enforce them as the chief executive.

It’s the nuns who are doing the suing, Brainiac, not the other way round.

Bachmann’s speech was the same tired, trite bullshit she’s always spouted.

But one of her RWNJ House buddies has gone the extra mile:

As U.S.-led airstrikes continue Friday near the Syrian border with Iraq, it’s hard to imagine what would make the situation worse than the military suddenly losing all its generals.

But that is exactly what Rep. Doug Lamborn (R-Colo.) told a group of voters he wants to see happen, the Colorado Independent reported.

“A lot of us are talking to the generals behind the scenes, saying, ‘Hey, if you disagree with the policy that the White House has given you, let’s have a resignation,’” Lamborn said Tuesday, adding that if generals resigned en masse in protest of President Barack Obama’s Middle East policy, they would “go out in a blaze of glory.”

There’s nothing so heartwarming as a Republican who’s actively suborning treason.

All-out attack! Wow, that must have been some extreme stuff. Oh wait, no, just the same tired things Republicans have been saying for years.

“[Hillary Clinton] will be Barack Obama’s third and fourth term as president of the United States.”

Which would be infinitely better than Jeb Bush as George W Bush’s third and fourth term as president of the United States.

When I first read the headline, it was like “Bachmann? At the WWF? Smackdown!”

…and then I noticed it was V V S. Darn. The first one woulda been so much better. and more appropriate, somehow.

Rachel reported on this tonight … just stunning.

I try not to hate, but I hate these people. Nothing they do or say is remotely patriotic or in the best interest of our country.

Hillary is probably still trembling, I’m sure.
Everyone gets that the Republicans have gone just about totally nuts but when they put 'em all in one place and take them off of their leashes, it’s scary.

Imagine how friggin’ crazy they are behind closed doors. YIKES!!!

Guano loco Bachmann, serving up traditional Republican word salad with her special arglebargle-santorum dressing all over it. It’s the distilled, insane hatred that gives it that extra-vomitous tingle.

Why hasn’t this piece of treasonous shit been strapped into a straight jacket and thrown into the cellar of an asylum yet?

To be clear: ANY Republican that might occupy the Whitehouse in 2016 would be the 3rd & 4th terms of the Cheney-Bush (mis)administration.

That point has to be made clear to all of America in the next several elections: the Republicans are pulling out every filthy trick they can imagine to continue the abomination that was the Reign of Cheney-Bush. There is no Republican candidate that isn’t a Stepford puppet for the ultra-right wing agenda.

ANY vote for any Republican for the rest of this decade is a vote to go back to the George W. Bush years. Every Republican possible has to be eliminated from office through the 2020 election cycle. After that the GOP will either be extinct or (possibly) reformed enough to participate in our government and political debates again. But, it isn’t going to happen before then.

We need all Democrats to vote at historic turnout levels and vote straight-ticket Democrat across the board for the next six years, every single election in every year.

Get every one of your friends to commit to that. Any Dems that get into office that are crap can be removed, as we have responsibly done so for decades. Republicans are a stain that will never be bleached out.

If Lamborn (R-Ass) disagrees with Obama’s handling of the situation, he can resign.

At least come January, Minnesota will be rid of her. That doesn’t answer the lasting question about what sort of people put her in office (twice) or the kind of people who didn’t stop it the second time.
On the whole, Congress will finally be rid of one embarrassment, leaving roughly 410 or so to go, but it has to start someplace. And it can’t start soon enough for me.
Scotland turned out 85% of its people to vote a few weeks ago.If Americans NOT represented my this sort of individual could turn out 85%, then there wouldn’t BE anyone like her in all of Congress. Think long and hard about that before election day rolls around, and Democrats in Minnesota and all over the Nation spend the night in front of the idiot box rather than going out to vote.
