Discussion for article #231534

“P.S., I’m still going to throw that little punk over a railing,” Mr. Grimm added.

A little remorse over breaking the law would have been nice. But at least he didn’t threaten bodily harm on anyone, so that’s progress.

No one gives a rats-butt about you or your feelings, felon!!

Now just, shut-up and go away!

If I had a name that sounds like one Charles Dickens invented for an evil bastard, I’d not be looking forward to the “the next chapter of my life.”

Scrooge repents, and fares well, but most (all?) of the rest of the pricks with “bad guy names” in CD’s books spiral horrifically downward.

LOL, probably not though. I remember that the little punk is the one that is truly “connected”.

Prison will break you like a boy. Punk ass.

Does Grimm mean, to quote the former Congressman, not broken “like a boy”? Does he mean his manhood remains whole even after this embarrassing, painful, humiliating and about par for a GOP congressman resignation?

I’m sure he meant it didn’t “break him into”.

“What the fuck do I care? I’m going to make bank on K Street now.”

After much thought and prayer, right. After Boehner put the screws to me, I had no choice is more like it. He owes his beloved constitituents an apology for lying about his innocence. It’s not about you Mr. Grimm, who really cares whether it broke you or not?

One can hope, but it will probably be more like a country club for felons where he can spend time each day writing his memoirs.

It’s always about them, how they’re hurting but will carry one and keep everyone in their thoughts and prayers. For all we know there are constituents who’ll be sorry to see him go.

Sociopaths always pray: usually to prevent getting caught.

To quote the great Fletcher Reed: "STOP BREAKING THE LAW< ASSHOLE!!!"

So when does Charlie Rangle resign for his tax evasion?

Grimm: My Decision To Quit Was 'Difficult' But 'Did Not Break' Me

Oh, I am so relieved.

I move we add “(convicted felon)” after his name from now one…same for others as well. Make it obligatory. For example…an upcoming story might look like this:

“Ex-Representative Michael Grimm (convicted felon) has reportedly taken a job at the firm of Payoff & Briberia, home of prior convicted felons _____ and _____ and former representatives and government officials _____, _____, _____, _____, _____, _____, _____ and _____, where he will be payed a high 6-figure salary to lobby his ex-colleagues in the House on behalf of well-funded special interests.”

Of course, reporting it that way might highlight something inconvenient…I’m not sure (I’m not a “journalist”), so maybe we won’t see that kind of thing.
