“I know you may think that your situation is a bit fuzzy and that you might have a way to argue that you were not totally doing bad things - and might be able to argue that stuff was bent to make you look bad … but today let’s make this painfully clear - you did wrong - very very wrong … you are in a big ass hole - in fact - see me up here looking down into the hole you are in … well I’m holding a 100ft long stick … and it does not reach all the way down to where you are … are you getting the point? - I did not just cavalierly toss out that question about TREASON … it is a reality … now would you like a few moments to compose yourself ?”

This was Flynn finally seeing that Sullivan was about to give him the 5 years just for being a dick and taking him up on the generous offer to cooperate a bit more to get less time. No way he’s gonna walk now no matter how many Russians and Turks he flips on.
